Police: Man Arrested For Third OWI

A driver going the wrong way on S. 76th St. near Edgehill Road was arrested for his third drunken driving offense about 1:35 a.m. March 11. The man registered a preliminary blood-alcohol content of .25. He was also arrested for operating after revocation, operating without insurance and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.

A 66-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence near 76th Street and Grange Avenue about 12:30 p.m. March 9. The victim was taken to Aurora St. Luke's South Shore Hospital.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at Walmart, 5301 S. 76th St., about 10:50 a.m. March 12.

A 57-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., about 1:40 p.m. March 12.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested for violating the absolute sobriety law and failing to stop at a stop sign at Ramsey Avenue and 51st Street about 12:55 a.m. March 13. She registered a preliminary blood-alcohol content of .01.

A 63-year-old man in the 5700 block of Gladstone Lane reported the theft of his air conditioner about 1 p.m. March 13. A dark-colored SUV was seen on the resident's driveway at the time of the theft.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop near Gardenway and Grove Terrace about 10:15 p.m. March 14.
