GREENDALE, WI—Greendale police tell Patch they charged two people with retail theft after the duo tried to steal items from the local mall.

According to police, the incident happened on November 13 just after 7:00 p.m.

Police say the pair was trying to steal bedding, towels, women's clothing, and perfume from the Macy's at Southridge Mall.

One the suspects used her 10-year-old daughter to conceal some of the items, according to police.
