Southridge Macy's Employee Pepper-Sprayed In Face By Thief: Cops
Greendale police said two women walked off with thousands of dollars in clothing, but not before pepper-spraying a man in the face.

GREENDALE, WI — A Macy's store employee was pepper-sprayed in the face by two clothing thieves, Greendale police said.
According to police call logs, two women picked out clothing at the store, and were on their way out when they were confronted by a man who was a store employee.
One of the women pepper-sprayed the man in the face and then left the store, authorities said.

Police said several people at the store, both employees and customers, called 911 just before 3 p.m. on Aug. 12 after watching the incident happen.
According to police, the two women stole about $2,200 worth of clothing before leaving the store and getting in to an older black Chevrolet coupe.

Greendale police described the two suspects as adult Black women. One was described by police as having red and purple hair.
