Stolen Greendale Car Found In Waupaca: Report
A 2013 Volkswagen was stolen from the driveway of a Greendale woman's home. Investigators say they tracked it down.

GREENDALE, WI — A 17-year-old Milwaukee woman has been arrested and charged after police say she traveled to Greendale to steal her relative's car.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, 17-year-old Miah J. Turney has been charged with burglary in connection with the July 16 case.
Investigators say a resident on the 6700 block of Hill Ridge Drive called police on July 16, saying that someone entered her home that night and stole her wallet, cash, credit cards and her car keys. The resident also told police that her 2013 Volkswagen had been stolen from her driveway.

When police investigated, they learned that State Troopers found the stolen vehicle in Waupaca with Turney seated in the passenger seat at the time of the vehicle's discovery, the complaint stated.
When police questioned her, she told investigators that she came to the Milwaukee area with her friends to steal her relative's car. She also admitted to driving the vehicle to New London.

Turney has been charged with one count of burglary. If she's convicted, she faces up to seven-and-a-half years behind bars.
