Greendale is declaring a "Snow Emergency" for the period beginning at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 and lasting 24 hours.

GREENDALE, WI --The Village of Greendale is declaring a “Snow Emergency” for the period beginning at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, through 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan.24 in the Village of Greendale.
According to Village rules, no motor vehicle nor commercial vehicle can be parked on any public street, alley or highway in the Village during this period. The duration of the snow emergency is timed so the Department of Public Works can plow the public streets, alleys and highways of the
Village in order to make them conveniently passable for traffic.
Village officials are encouraging the public to remember that vehicles left on the street after declaration of a snow emergency are subject to being plowed in or towed at the owner’s expense.
