WEATHER UPDATE: Strong Storms Move in Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday; Next Storms Expected Thursday
Hopefully the storms didn't wake you up overnight Tuesday. The National Weather Service issued a severe weather alert late Tuesday.

WISCONSIN -- The National Weather Service has issued a severe weather outlook for overnight Tuesday into Wednesday as a line of powerful thunderstorms move across Wisconsin.

Here is the NWS alert issued just after 11 p.m. Tuesday:

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 5 am for all of south
Central wisconsin and a portion of southeast wisconsin. A line of
Thunderstorms with damaging winds and heavy rainfall...With a
Tornado or two possible...Will cross south central and portions of
Southeast Wisconsin through the overnight hours...Exiting southern
Wisconsin between 4 am and 5 am.

Thunderstorms are possible on wednesday but widespread severe
Weather is not anticipated. The next highest chances for severe
Weather will be on Thursday as the next system approaches southern
Wisconsin.
