Wisconsin Weather: Severe Storms Moving Into Area
Unfortunately, the downpour later this evening is not expected to accompany a break in temperature.

WISCONSIN — High temperatures scorched much of Southeastern Wisconsin on Saturday as local heat indexes soared to more than 100 degrees. The National Weather Service is reporting that a line of numerous thunderstorms are pushing into the Metro Milwaukee area, and will continue through the late evening, possibly producing gusty winds and hail. Brief heavy rainfall may produce minor street and urban flooding.
Unfortunately, the downpour later this evening is not expected to accompany a break in temperature, as an Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for portions of Southeast Wisconsin including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha.

The Excessive Heat Warning continues for parts of southeast Wisconsin until 4 p.m. Sunday. There is a chance for thunderstorms Sunday, with a slight ris for severe storms for much of southern Wisconsin.
