1-4 Inches Rain Expected, Flash Flood Warning Issued
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 4 p.m. this afternoon through the overnight hour for most of Southeastern Wisconsin.

WISCONSIN — The National Weather Service is reporting that heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 4 p.m. this afternoon through the overnight hours. This has been expanded to cover more but not all of southern Wisconsin. One to three inches of rain is forecast with local four-inch totals possible. The potential exists for the heavy rain to stall out across the I-94 corridor and affect the same areas that received heavy rains at the end of last week.
The NWS says there is a high swim risk today and tonight for dangerous currents on the beaches of Lake Michigan. A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect. Waves around four feet are expected.
