City Breaks Ground on New Farmers Market

Mayor Michael Neitzke, Alderpersons Shirley Saryan and Pam Akers, city staff, and Dan Jansen Fest Board Members broke ground at the new Greenfield Farmers Market and improvements at Konkel Park on Thursday.

Dan Jansen Fest, which begins Friday and continues over the Memorial Day weekend donated $30,000 toward the project.

The city's public works department will begin work on the project, which includes paved pathways and other electrical enhancements, at the conclusion of Dan Jansen Fest.
