City of Greenfield Announced Arbor Day And Clean-Up Events Next Month
The festivities begin with an Arbor Day Celebration at Konkel Park on May 6 with tree planting at the park.

GREENFIELD - The City of Greenfield and the Greenfield Beautification Committee have teamed up again for two annual spring events that put the "green" in Greenfield.
Festivities begin with Greenfield's 27th Annual Arbor Day Celebration, the city's biggest community beautification project. The event will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at Konkel Park at S. 51st St. and W. Layton Ave., where citizens can help plant trees to enhance the beautification of the park. Other events include music by Greenfield's Concert Band, Arbor Day ceremony, and a tree-planting demonstration with the Greenfield City Forester.
In order to help with the planting, residents must first adopt a tree by filling out this form and submitting a donation. The city will assist those who need help planting their trees.

The city also announced Greenfield's Clean Up/Green Up Day in conjunction with Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful at Konkel Park on Saturday, May 13, with check-in and supply pick-up from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Residents can pick up litter in various areas of the city and sign up to earn coupons for a day at the Milwaukee County Zoo or county pools. Free litter bags will be provided. The registration deadline for the clean-up is Wednesday, May 3. Fill out this form for registration.
