Dan Jansen Ice Rink Set To Open In Greenfield

​The winter ice skating season has arrived in Greenfield, as the grand opening of the Dan Jansen Family Fest Ice Rink is set.

GREENFIELD, WI — The winter ice skating season has arrived in Greenfield, as the grand opening of the Dan Jansen Family Fest Ice Rink is set to take place this week.

City officials will be on-hand Wednesday, Dec. 18 starting at 6 p.m. to officially open the rink, which has been set up at Konkel Park.

A rink-lighting and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. There will be free ice skating and skate rentals. Santa will be there, and to help fight the cold, there will be free hot chocolate, cappuccino and coffee.

The Ice Rink offers free ice skating and skate rental. A warming area and concessions stand will be open during hours of operation.

Monday-Thursday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday noon to 9 p.m.

Holiday Hours:
Dec. 23 to Jan. 3: noon to 9 p.m.
Dec. 24-25: closed
Dec. 31: noon to 6 p.m.
