Does the Whitnall School Board Have Too Many Members?

It's something the seven-member board is expected to discuss Monday, Aug. 12.

Fewer representatives may someday be making decisions for the entire Whitnall School District constituent base.

The district is expected to begin an interesting discussion Monday about the size of its school board, which currently stands at seven. The board will begin to talk about the feasibility of trimming two members at its meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Board members make $3,200 a year.

Both local football teams will participate in their preseason scrimmages Friday, one week before the regular season kicks off Aug. 23.

Greenfield will be at Mukwonago at 6 p.m. Aug. 16, before starting the regular season with a home game against Germantown at 7 p.m. the following Friday.

And the Whitnall Falcons will host a handful of teams at 5:45 p.m. at Falcon Field on Friday before heading to Slinger for the opener one week later.
