Drunken Driver Hits Greenfield Police Squad At Club Paragon: Cops

GREENFIELD, WI — An apparent drunk driver hit a Greenfield police squad car at Club Paragon as the officer was investigating a stolen iPhone case at Club Paragon, police said.

According to Greenfield police call logs, a person who was at Club Paragon, 3578 S. 108th Street, called police saying that his iPhone was stolen while he was at the club.

An officer was sent to the business, and took a report on the theft case.

While the officer was at the club working on the theft case, an apparent drunken driver hit the officer's squad car, according to call logs. The crash happened just before 3 a.m. on Sep. 12, police said.

Police said the driver, a Greenfield woman, was arrested and driven to the police station on suspicion of her first drunken driving offense.
