Eat West Allis Hosts Second Annual Dine And Dash Eating Challenge May 20 To Benefit The West Allis Food Pantry

WEST ALLIS - Loosen your belts Saturday, May 15, for the Dine and Dash eating challenge hosted by Eat West Allis and 15 area eateries to benefit the West Allis Food Pantry.

In order to qualify for a $50 gift card at one of the establishments, teams must visit each of the 15 locations, post a picture of themselves on the Eat West Allis Facebook page with a hashtag of the restaurant. The first 15 teams to complete the challenge win the gift card.

Participating establishments and featured Dine and Dash dishes are:

• Ka Bob's Bistro, Becher Street Burger Sliders
• Twisted Bistro, Memphis Poutine
• The Farmer's Wife, Crispy Fried Chicken Skins
• Antigua, Esquites Creamy Corn Cups
• Aggie's Bakery, Petite Tuxedo Chocolate Ganache Cake
• West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shoppe, crusty baguette covered in raclette cheese
• Westallion Brewing Company, beer flight
• Corvina, wine flight tasting
• Crawdaddy's, half dozen fresh oysters
• Chef Paz, Amazing Empanadas
• Capri di Nuovo, Lasagna Teasers with garlic bread
• Kegel's Inn, a liter of Optimator beer
• Freese's Candy Shoppe, Sea Salt and Caramel Bark and Heavenly Roasted Nuts
• Rupena's, Hungarian patty with sour cream sauce
• Alpastor, mini chimichangas

The event starts at 7 a.m. until close but hours for each restaurant vary and participants should keep this in mind when planning their stops.

Upon completion of the challenge, teams can call (262) 617-3276 to record their finishing time. Teams get to choose which gift card they'd like in order of their finish time.

Teams must be signed up before Monday, May 15, and can register in person at the West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shoppe, 6832 W. Becher St., or call (414) 543-4230. Teams of four to eight people are required. Registration per team is $50 in advance and $75 at the door. Participation is not guaranteed, as the event is limited to 50 teams.
