Electric Vehicle Fair And Makers Market: Greenfield Weekend Guide

The Makers Market returns this weekend, plus don't miss out on an Electric Vehicle Fair at the Library on Saturday.

GREENFIELD, WI — The Drive Electric Vehicle Fair is coming to the Greenfield Public Library on Saturday, plus the Makers Market will return for Sunday, giving resident plenty to do around Greenfield this weekend.

The Makers Market returns for the first Sunday of June to the Greenfield Farmers Market. Organizers say instead of just the standard fresh fruits and vegetables, the makers market lets market patrons explore craftwork and art. Visit local artisans at the makers market starting at 10 a.m. in Konkel Park.

The market this Sunday will also feature an outdoor family story time led by storytellers from the library. The three storytellers will host a brief story session for families from 11-11:30 a.m. near the market.

The market will start at 10 a.m. at Konkel Park located at 5151 West Layton Avenue in Greenfield.

On Saturday, gear up for the Drive Electric Event at the library. At least a dozen electric vehicles of all types will be coming to the library for owners to show their vehicles off and discuss their experiences.

Chat with electric vehicle (EV) owners at a forum from 11-11:30 a.m. in the library. The forum will allow for discussion about the benefits of EV ownership, organizers wrote. Afterward, tour the EVs parked in the library lot.

The Drive Electric event will start at 10 a.m. at the Greenfield Public Library located at 5310 West Layton Avenue in Greenfield.
