Greenfield Gun Owner Says .38 Special Was Stolen From Car: Cops

The owners last saw his Rock Island Armory M204 with five .38 special hollow point bullets at about 11 a.m. on July 17, police said.

GREENFIELD, WI — A gun owner in Greenfield said he's missing his .38 special after it was stolen from his car over a weekend in July.

According to Greenfield police call logs, a Greenfield resident came into the police station during the afternoon of July 20 to report the gun had been stolen from inside his vehicle over the weekend of July 18-19.

Police call logs stated the man last saw his Rock Island Armory M204 with five .38 special hollow point bullets at about 11 a.m. on July 17.

According to police, the resident, who lives on W. Coldspring Road, told police he did not know where the vehicle was parked when the gun was stolen.
