Greenfield Police Collect Nearly 1,000 Pounds of Prescription Drugs
Community members were encouraged to bring in unused or unwanted prescription drugs to the department Saturday.
The Greenfield Police Department collected nearly 1,000 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs to the Drug Enforcement Administration as part of the national "Take Back" initiative on Saturday.
Community members were encouraged to bring in unused or unwanted prescription drugs to the department from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Police collected 992 pounds, up from approximately 600 collected last September.
