GREENFIELD, WI — A 28-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested and charged after authorities say he stole cigarettes and lighters from a Greenfield Walgreens, only to lead officers on a pursuit before his arrest.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, a Greenfield police officer was sitting in an unmarked car watching the Walgreens at 4296 S. 76th Street just before 1 a.m. on July 19 when he saw Bolden come out of the Walgreens carrying a large bin.

Authorities said Bolden got into a car and drove off. Police said they tried pulling the car over, only to have it speed away at almost 80 miles per hour, running "several red lights" in what quickly became a police chase.
