Homemade Holidays at Wehr Nature Center
Get all the handmade cute without the mess, at Wehr Nature Center's Handmade Holidays event on Saturday.
The Wehr Nature Center, 9701 W. College Ave. in Franklin, invites you to bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, neighborhood gang, or scout group to Wehr to create homemade treasures from natural, recycled, and re-purposed objects. Homemade Holidays will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1st from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. with the Friends of Wehr Cookie exchange ending at 4:00 p.m.
Make and take three different projects for the admission fee. Additional projects are available for a small additional cost. Projects include tree cookie coasters, pencil holders, recycled crayons, a variety of holiday ornaments, homemade wrapping paper, large pine cone holiday trees and more. Stop by anytime to make your works of art and participate in the FOW cookie exchange.
Leave the mess to us and come join the fun.
