Kayak, Shotgun Among Items Reportedly Stolen From Greenfield Home
A man said several other items were taken from his garage and home in the 4100 block of West Barnard Avenue.

A resident in the 4100 block of West Barnard Avenue reported April 3 that someone stole a shotgun, kayak, compressor, watch and miscellaneous tools from his residence and garage in the two weeks prior to him calling police.
There were no signs of forced entry.
That and the following incidents were reported in the Greenfield Police Department log for the week of April 1-7:

- A 32-year-old Greenfield man was cited for excessive noise after a caller said he was pounding on doors and screaming in the apartment complex in the 3300 block of South 100th Street at 6:30 p.m. April 1. Later, the complex’s manager called police to report her apartment door was damaged; the 32-year-old was mailed a citation for criminal damage – trespassing as well.
- Chad Boruch, a 32-year-old Milwaukee man, was arrested for possessing heroin after a caller told police Boruch was passed out or sleeping in a running vehicle at Speedway, 6000 W. Layton Ave., at 3 a.m. April 2. Boruch was charged with felony possession of narcotic drugs in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on April 6.
- An employee at Rosen Kia, 5505 S. 27th St., reported a silver 2012 Nissan Maxima four-door was missing. It was taken sometime before 2 p.m. April 2.
- A 36-year-old man was arrested for fraudulent use of a credit card after a Greenfield woman reported her work binder and debit card had been stolen sometime before 4:20 p.m. April 3. The man is accused of using the debit card four times.
- A 52-year-old man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft after he tried to conceal items at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 4 p.m. April 3.
- A 33-year-old man was cited for contempt of court while appearing in the city’s Municipal Court, 5300 W. Layton Ave., at 4:20 p.m. April 3.
- A 27-year-old resident in the 4300 block of South 45th Street was cited for allowing his dog to run loose after the dog was believed to have bitten a neighbor. The neighbor went to the emergency room to have the bite treated April 3.
- A 22-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct after she and three of her female friends reportedly caused a disturbance at Mad Dog Saloon, 4395 S. 76th St., just after midnight April 4. A second woman, 34 years old, is wanted for disorderly conduct.
- A 1993 Honda Accord was reported stolen in the 3900 block of South Tara Hill Drive. It was stolen sometime before 9 a.m. April 4.
- A man and woman reportedly took the security device off a laptop and tried to steal it from Best Buy, 4610 S. 76th St., at 3:20 p.m. April 4. Security, however, intervened and the couple fled without the computer.
- A 19-year-old woman was arrested for her involvement in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of South 76th Street and West Cold Spring Road at 7 p.m. April 4.
- A resident in the 3200 block of West American Drive reported a Fed Ex package containing military uniforms was stolen from his porch sometime between 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. April 5.
