Man Pulls Knife on Bouncer at Mad Dog Saloon, Police Say

The man's friend punched two bouncers after they were asked to leave the establishment, police say.

An incident in the parking lot of Mad Dog Saloon, 4395 S. 76th St., could have been a lot worse after police say one man pulled out a knife March 16.

According to court documents, Jason Stachowiak, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man, was told by the bar’s bouncer he had to leave because he was giving some woman at the bar a hard time.

Stachowiak’s friend, Jose Aviles, a 24-year-old Milwaukee resident, followed his friend and two bouncers out of the bar and punched one of the bouncers.  When another bouncer came over to help his colleague, Aviles struck him in the side of the head two, according to the complaint.

The second bouncer then grabbed Aviles and threw him to the ground.

By then, Stachowiak had gone into his car and pulled out a five- to six-inch steak knife and began wielding it, the complaint said. The bouncer told police that had he been closer to Stachowiak, he believed he would have been stabbed.
