Man Steals Laptops, Xbox From Own Brother, Police Say
After coming by looking for a place to spend the night, the victim's brother steals two laptops, an Xbox and more to fund a heroin addiction, police say.

A Greenfield man who opened his doors and gave his brother a place to stay woke up the next morning regretting the goodwill gesture.
The man’s brother stole hundreds of dollars worth of electronics, police say.
According to the Greenfield Police Department report, the brother showed up at the man’s apartment in the 4800 block of South 72nd Street the evening of July 9, looking for a place to stay and something to eat.

The next morning, the man’s brother was gone, along with two laptop computers, an Xbox 360 game console, Xbox accessories and some prescription Xanax medication.
The brother sold most of the items to various second-hand stores, including Pawn America in West Allis. He received approximately $170 for the items.

The victim told police his brother was a heroin user. He was later arrested in West Allis.
