Miranda Levy, a finalist on season 12 of the Lifetime Network show Project Runway, will lead the Women's Riders Day charity ride from the House of Harley Davidson in Greenfield on Sept. 1.

Milwaukee native Miranda Levy will be joining the fun at the House of Harley-Davidson's 110th anniversary bash that begins later this month.

Levy, a finalist on season 12 of the Lifetime Network show Project Runway, will lead the Sunday charity ride on Women’s Riders Day to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation of southeastern Wisconsin. All riders in the September 1 charity ride will wear commemorative pink House of Harley-Davidson t-shirts and tour Milwaukee’s Lakefront at 2 p.m. before heading back to the House of Harley-Davidson for live music and more.

Levy’s appearance is just one of the many activities happening during the six-day, 110th anniversary celebration at The House of Harley-Davidson, scheduled for Aug. 26 through Sept. 2.

“We’re thrilled that Miranda can join us for Women’s Rider Day and be a part of what is sure to be a memorable Sunday at the House of Harley-Davidson as we celebrate the special bond between women riders around the globe,” said John Schaller, president of the House of Harley-Davidson. “To see the sea of pink shirts taking off from Greenfield that afternoon and knowing that it’s a celebration of Harley-Davidson but also helping to impact such a great organization like the Komen Foundation, it’s the sense of community that Harley the House is all about.”

Over the course of the last week in August 2013, more than 500,000 guests are expected to visit Milwaukee for Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebration, with more than 250,000 of these visitors expected to descend on the House of Harley-Davidson. The House of Harley-Davison will feature live music from nationally renowned acts each day, along with four commemorative rides from Wednesday, Aug. 28 through Sunday, Sept. 1, to benefit local national charities.
