Public Invited To Greenfield Poetry Open Mic Night
For all the poets looking for an audience, please join us! If you're not a poet, feel free to read a favorite poem.

GREENFIELD, WI -- Do you love poetry, and want to try your work out in front of a supportive live audience?
Organizers of Poetry After Dark: An Open Mic Poetry Night, are inviting you to turn out at the Greenfield Public Library this Friday night. The event is part of National Poetry Month. Poems should be five minutes or less and be appropriate for a teen audience.
Registration is appreciated on the library website calendar www.greenfieldlibrary.org, organizers say. "For all the poets looking for an audience, please join us! If you're not a poet, feel free to read a favorite poem. Not inclined to recite a poem? Be part of our audience," organizers said in a statement to Greenfield Patch.

The event will be held Friday, April 12 starting at 7 p.m. at the Greenfield Public Library, 5310 W Layton Ave., Greenfield, WI 53220.
