Second Crash Reported On I-94, Traffic Being Diverted: Report

All traffic is being diverted off I-94 after a second crash was reported on Thursday morning.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A second crash on I-94 this morning is resulting in a traffic slowdown, and traffic is being diverted off the interstate as crews tend to the wreckage.

Weather conditions Thursday morning were already a bit slower due to the first steady rain the area has seen in weeks, however things are even slower on I-41/I-94 following a semi crash. That's because a semi trailer jackknifed on the interstate near the Mitchell Interchange. Multiple lanes have been shut down in the southbound direction as road crews work to extricate the trailer from its precarious position.

A second accident has been reported in the northbound lanes of I-94 at Drexel Ave. in Oak Creek. Authorities say all traffic is being diverted off the interstate at Drexel Ave. and motorists are reporting heavy delays.
