Shots Fired On I-94; Semi Driver Finds 4 Bullet Holes: Sheriff
Sheriff's officials said the semi truck driver honked his horn, and then heard "what he believed to be four to five gunshots."
MILWAUKEE, WI — Sheriff's investigators in Milwaukee say they found four bullet holes in the side of a victim's semi truck after a report of gunshots fired on I-94 in Milwaukee County.
It's yet another shooting incident on I-94 this summer. In a number of the previous incidents, the shootings took place during daytime business hours and forced hours' long freeway closures.
Wednesday's incident happened just after 2 a.m., authorities said. According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office, deputies were called to the westbound lanes of I-94 near Mitchell Blvd. just after 2 a.m. Wednesday after a semi-truck driver saw a car swerve toward his trick.

According to sheriff's officials, the truck driver showed deputies where the semi was hit, and deputies reported finding four bullet holes in the driver's side of the truck. Nobody was injured, authorities said.
According to Wisconsin transit officials, the freeway was closed from 27th Street to Mitchell Blvd. for about two hours early Wednesday.
