Stolen Car, Vehicle Break-Ins Reported In Greenfield Neighborhood
Greenfield police say they received reports of multiple vehicle break-ins and a stolen car over the last week.

GREENFIELD, WI — Greenfield police are investigating a number of vehicle break-ins and a vehicle theft from earlier this week. According to Greenfield police, the incidents happened all along the 4800 block of several streets just west of Whitnall High School. Here are the incidents that were reported to Greenfield police by area residents.
4800 block of S. 122nd Street:
A Greenfield man called police just before 8 a.m. on Sep. 12 to report that his mother's 2003 white Chevrolet Venture was taken from the driveway. The vehicle reportedly contained keys.

4800 block of S. 119th Street:
A Greenfield woman called police just before 8 a.m. on Sep. 12 to report that her son's Volkswagen Jetta was broken into overnight and $80 in cash was missing. A flashlight was left inside the car, the woman said.

4800 block of S. 122nd Street:
A resident on the block called police just before 10 a.m. Sep. 12 to report that his vehicle was broken into overnight.
4800 block S. 123rd Street:
A resident told police his light blue Ford Escape and silver Dodge Caravan were rummaged through overnight Sep. 12, though it appeared nothing was taken.
