Suspect In Custody After Bank Robbery And Car Crash In West Allis
Suspect, who was not named, was nabbed after a brief car chase that led to an accident and a foot chase.
WEST ALLIS - After a brief car chase, officers arrested a suspect on suspicion of robbing the BMO Harris Bank at 7000 W. Greenfield Ave.
Officers responded to the bank around 10:05 a.m. Wednesday for a reported robbery. The suspect vehicle was located shortly after and a brief car chase occurred. The suspect crashed around N. Sherman Blvd. and W. North Ave. and a foot pursuit ensued.
The West Allis Police Department was assisted by the West Milwaukee PD, Milwaukee PD, State Fair PD, and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. The investigation is ongoing.
