The Rock Grand Opening Scheduled For July 19-21

The Rock, a multi-sport complex in Franklin, is holding a three-day grand opening celebration weekend July 19-21.

The Rock has multiple baseball fields, bike paths and unique umbrella bar and patio that overlooks the facility.

At 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 19, there will be an outdoor showing of the movie The Sandlot. Other events over the three-day celebration include a home run derby with youth and adult divisions, a youth baseball open house, food and drink specials and a softball game featuring Franklin Mayor Tom Taylor.

On Saturday, there will be live music from the band Uprising at 9 p.m.

The Rock is located at 7900 West Crystal Ridge Drive in Franklin, just off of 76th Street south of Greendale and Greenfield.
