Two Greenfield Superintendent Candidates Getting a Second Look

Former Greenfield teacher and principal Lisa Elliott and Lynette Zimmer, a superintendent in Illinois, will interview again and also tour the district's facilities Monday evening.

Two of the six superintendent candidates interviewed by the Greenfield School Board last week will have second interviews this evening.

According to Dr. Louis Birchbauer, the consultant for the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, the Board will interview Lisa Elliott and Lynette Zimmer again Monday. Elliott and Zimmer will also receive tours of the district’s facilities before they interview, Birchbauer said.

Elliott is the former Greenfield teacher and principal who is the director of curriculum and instruction at Nicolet High School. Zimmer is the Superintendent of Prairie Grove Consolidated District 46 in Illinois.

The two candidates are not considered finalists, Birchbauer said.

The Board has “several options after this evening,” he said. “If everything goes well, they can continue moving forward with those two candidates. If not, they can talk again with any of the other candidates they interviewed last week.”
