Walgreens Theft Suspect Tried Hiding Toaster under Shirt: Cops
Greenfield police say they tracked down three Milwaukee men who stole from Walgreens, including one man who tried hiding a toaster.

GREENFIELD, WI — Three people were arrested and face potential charges after police say they were caught trying to steal from Walgreens, including one person who tried hiding a toaster under his shirt.
Greenfield police say they were called to the Walgreens at 4296 S. 76th Street just before 1 a.m. on July 21 on a report that three people appeared to be involved in stealing items from the store. Police reports noted that one person was caught on video surveillance hiding something under his arm as he hurried to a gray 2018 Honda CRV sport utility vehicle in the parking lot, which then drove away.
Police said they tracked down the SUV on S. 76th Street minutes later. Police said they pulled the SUV over, and found a Walgreens basket filled with merchandise, including the toaster.

According to police, a 33-year-old Milwaukee man, a 35-year-old Milwaukee man and a 37-year-old Milwaukee man were all arrested and face potential retail theft charges.
