What Did Your Father Teach You?

Not the easiest question to answer, huh?

Especially for those of us fortunate enough to have been taught so many things by our dad.

Plenty of space could be used here to talk about throwing a baseball, fishing, grilling, landscaping and the ever-important concept of "measure twice, cut once."

And of course there are the life lessons like striving for perfection but being OK with being imperfect.

But more than anything, as I celebrate Father's Day with my two young children this weekend, I know my dad taught me how to be the kind of father I want to be.
