MILWAUKEE, WI – Briggs and Al’s Run and Walk for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is one of the largest and longest running fundraising events in Wisconsin. It will take place this year on Saturday, Sept. 14.

In the last 41 years, the event has raised more than $21 million for children and families who are served by Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. This year's fundraising goal is $1 million.

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is celebrating 25 years of partnering with Briggs and Stratton for this annual community event.

More than 1,000 Children’s Champions, identified by yellow t-shirts will participate. Children’s Champions are past and current patients of Children’s Hospitals of Wisconsin.

Distances

Wheelchair route: 8k

Runner route: 8k

Walker route: 3 mile or 5 mile options

Dates, Times and Location

Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019

Wheelchair start: 10:15 a.m.

Runner start: 10:30 a.m.

Walkers start: Immediately following runners

The run/walk starts at 12th Street and Wisconsin Avenue on the Marquette University campus and ends inside the Summerfest grounds.
