Pride Will Continue In Milwaukee With 'PridertoberFest'
Milwaukee Pride will return to the Henry W. Maier Festival Park for two days in October.
MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee Pride, the organization that hosts PrideFest, announced Thursday that it will host "PridetoberFest" at the Henry W. Maier Festival Park, located at 200 N. Harbor Drive, on October 8-9.
PrideFest, which is usually held in June, was canceled in January of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Milwaukee Pride added that PrideFest is the biggest LGBTQ+ event in Wisconsin.
PridetoberFest will be a scaled back version of the June festival, organizers said. They added that the two-day event will activate multiple stages that engage a diverse lineup of entertainment with a particular focus on local acts, performers, and shows.

“We just couldn’t wait until 2022 to see our LGBTQ+ family and allies again.” Milwaukee Pride vice president Luke Olson said. “October is LGBTQ+ history month along with National Coming Out Day. What better moment to gather and reflect on the long journey that got us to this point - and of course, to celebrate!”
Here are the dates and times PridetoberFest will take place:
