Why are you seeking elective office?
I’ve always wanted to serve my country, that’s why I joined the Air Force and that’s why I’m running for elective office.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Election fraud is the most important issue, we need to make sure our elections are secure and we can all be confident in the results. Cyber security and preventing future rigged elections would be a priority of mine. Studies have shown ballot placement gives an unfair advantage of up to 20% to whoever is first on the ballot. We should fix this with random ballot placement that gives each candidate equal opportunity to be first. In the last 10 years I have been on the ballot nine times in elections where ballot placement was determined solely by the Wisconsin Elections Commission or its predecessor, the Government Accountability Board, and my name has not appeared first. The Republican in name only who won the primary would have lost without the advantage of being first on the ballot.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The establishment Republican in this race accepts the fraudulent results of the 2020 election and will not fight election fraud because he has benefited from it by being first on the ballot in every primary he has campaigned in. John Jagler has also refused to sign the U.S. Term Limits pledge. I have signed it and will work toward implementation.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
In the only candidate forum attended to by all but one of the 13th Senate District candidates I asked the question "why won't John Jagler debate?" Maybe it's because he lied about an endorsement from the Wisconsin State Journal. Maybe the answer is he would have to explain why he snubbed President Trump by accepting the fraudulent results of the 2020 Election. Or the reason could be because he would have to answer to why he refuses to sign the US Term Limits pledge which all the other candidates have signed. A fourth possibility is it's because he only won the Republican primary because of a rigged election due to ballot placement. Truth is the voters have learned all they need to know about Jagler in the fact that he won't bother to show up in the first place.
How do you think local officials performed in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?
Terrible, unconstitutional lockdowns and mask mandates must end. At the same time Biden has opened America's borders in the middle of a pandemic when we really should move faster to build the wall and secure our borders. Since my first campaign in 2008 I've supported ending all sanctuary city policies and called for the deportation of all illegal immigrants, with the spread of the China virus this is more important than ever.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
I believe in term limits. They are a top priority and I have fought for them in previous campaigns. No one should remain in one elected office for more than two terms or eight years, a precedent intentionally set by first president, George Washington, after we gained independence in a revolution against a king who ruled for life. The establishment Republican in this race has refused to sign the US Term Limits pledge; I have signed it.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I was introduced to politics with the 1986 Campaign of my Uncle Tom Tynan who ran as a Republican for Sheriff of Fond Du Lac County. I worked on the 2004 Bush re-election and the 2006 Scott Walker for Governor Campaign. In 2010 I was a recipient of the Dane County Republican Party Lyman F. Anderson Local Government Public Service Award.
I supported Trump in the 2016 primary against Ted Cruz. I coordinated with the staff at Trumps Menomonee Falls headquarters and emailed Hope Hicks about campaign strategy, commercial ideas, and I hand delivered a letter to Trump explaining how I intended to continue to support his campaign. It took going door to door across Southern Wisconsin, collecting 1237 signatures to get the words "Trump Conservative" beside my name on the ballot on November 8th, 2016.
I essentially ran a satellite campaign alongside the Trump campaign, I distributed the Presidents campaign material with mine and put up 100's of Trump signs across the first congressional district. The goal at the time was to get the establishment behind Trump, and to give him leverage over Paul Ryan, ensuring that he would have a united Republican Party in the fall.
We were successful, Trump was the first republican to win the State since 1984. I have had conversations with Reince Priebus and Tommy Thompson and both have been supportive when I mentioned that I had ran for office previously and urged me to run again.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Robert Davis once said, "The financial irresponsibility of our generation in the conduct of affairs of the federal government is an egregious wrong, it is a moral wrong because it represents a weak shifting of the grave financial burdens by those who have created the burdens and are its chief beneficiaries. We would certainly question the moral integrity of the man who when the day of reckoning came turned to his own family and said, "I did all these fine things for you, I knew I couldn't afford them, you and your children are going to have to pay for my generosity, but think of all the fun we had."
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
My roots in our state run deep, being born in Neenah from a Fond du Lac family, where one uncle was on the city council and another ran for county sheriff. I grew up in McFarland, and after graduating from high school in 1998, I enlisted in the Air Force for four years. On duty during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, I received the Joint Service Achievement Medal for meritorious service. For nearly a decade I’ve worked for Presidential Limousine Service in Cambridge, and before that I lived near both Columbus and Lake Mills where in 2008 I wrote and published the book “The Epoch Point” with a chapter about Aztalan, all in the 13th Senate District.
