A gas leak in Downtown Milwaukee is forcing evacuations Monday afternoon.

MILWAUKEE, WI — A gas leak in Downtown Milwaukee is forcing evacuations Monday afternoon.
According to multiple reports, the scene of the leak is near N. 2nd St. And W. Wells St. near the Hotel Wisconsin. WE Energies has responded to the scene, FOX 6 is reporting. There is construction work in the area.
According to a JSOnline report, the source of the leak is a gas line rupture, though it has not been made public yet how the line was ruptured.
