Lineup Announced For Summer Soulstice, Milwaukee's Biggest Showcase For Local Bands, With Headliner WebsterX

The free music and visual arts festival will be held June 24 on Milwaukee's east side from noon to midnight.

MILWAUKEE - The lineup for the 17th annual Summer Soulstice music festival and arts fair was released Wednesday with a host of popular local bands.

The festival will be held from all day and night Saturday, June 24, on East North Avenue on Milwaukee's east side as an official celebration of the Summer Solstice. It is billed as the largest free showcase of top local bands, along with visual artists, makers of Milwaukee's arts/crafts scene curated by the Waxwing, creation stations, East Side restaurants, dodgeball and BMX stunt bikes, and family-friendly activities.

The music starts at 3:15 p.m. over three stages and the line-up includes WebsterX, Lex Allen, Midwest Death Rattle, De La Buena, The Fatty Acids, The Pukes, Antler House, Shoot Down the Moon, B-Free, Vincent VanGreat, Whips, Negative/Positive, Amanda Huff, Mouse Corn, Marielle Allschwang and the Visitations, Painted Caves, School of Rock, and Luxi.

Other highlights include Solstice Sun Salutations yoga with Urban Om at 10 a.m., East Side Market from noon to 6 p.m. with local makers, an Adventure Rock wall, food court, and BMX bike stunt show.
