Man Accused Of Making Repeated Shooting Threats At Molson Coors
Police say a Milwaukee man who threatened to carry out a mass shooting at the Miller Brewery is facing charges.
MILWAUKEE, WI — A Milwaukee man threatened to carry out a mass shooting at the Miller Coors Brewery last week, according to police and news reports. Investigators said he also made threats in Feb. 2020 on the same day another worker shot and killed five coworkers.
Jamal Jury, 28, has been charged with making terrorist threats and for using a computer messaging system to threaten injury or harm.
Jury was suspended from his job at Miller Coors on Feb. 26, 2020 for "making veiled threats about 'shooting up' Miller Coors," reported the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He was escorted out shortly after. Later that day, Anthony Ferrill would shoot and kill five brewery workers that day before killing himself.

Jury was taken into custody after the shooting and was released after investigators found that he wasn't involved, the Journal Sentinel reported. Court documents show the company had filed a restraining order against him.
Prosecutors said Jury continued to make threats to carry out a similar shooting last Wednesday, WISN 12 reported. Jury made a comment about "shooting up" Molson Coors to a union official who had told him his arbitration hearing didn't hold up and his employment was terminated, reported the Journal Sentinel.

Security at the brewery was increased and employees were escorted to secure locations afterward, reported the Journal Sentinel.
Another brewery employee showed text messages that Jury had sent in August 2020 threatening to "shoot the brewery up" to officials, reported WISN 12.
According to court documents, Jury is charged with one count of making terrorist threats, which is a felony, and one count of using a computer message to threaten injury or harm, which is a misdemeanor.
Jury's preliminary hearing will be held on June 23. During a June 6 court appearance, he was ordered not to contact Molson Coors employees and to stay away from the campus.
Ferrill had worked at the brewery for seventeen years, the Journal Sentinel reported. Milwaukee police said its investigation found that he had exhibited paranoia and erratic behavior three years prior to the shooting.
