Man Killed During Robbery, Suspect Wanted: Milwaukee Police

MILWAUKEE, WI — One man is dead following a robbery that occurred along the 1100 block of W. Atkinson Avenue Thursday night.

Around 8:15 p.m., Milwaukee police said a young man and his girlfriend were sitting in their car when a suspect approached the couple and tried to rob them.

The suspect fired into the vehicle striking the victim before fleeing the scene, police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 25 years old.

Milwaukee police continue to look for a suspect.
