Milwaukee Woos Democrats For 2020 Convention
Civic leaders want the city to be the place where Democrats nominate the person who will face off against Donald Trump in the next election.

MILWAUKEE, WI – Civic leaders have made it clear: They want Milwaukee to host the 2020 Democratic National Convention, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Whatever city hosts that convention likely get tons of attention – and an influx of tens of thousands of visitors and an estimated $200 million poured into the local economy. It also will the place Democrats will nominate the person who will face off against President Trump in November 2020. The official bid process for the DNC has not even begun, but Milwaukee business and government leaders already have begun wooing national party leaders, the Journal Sentinel reports.
