Mother's Day Weather In Wisconsin: Rain, Snow Showers Possible

Wisconsin could see rain and snow this holiday weekend. We wouldn't recommend throwing Mom a picnic.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Mother's Day 2020 will be memorable for its oddness. Between the new coronavirus and the promise of early May snow and rain showers, no one is likely to forget this holiday.

According to current forecasts, between Saturday and Sunday, Wisconsin will get drenched by overnight rain showers. Less than half an inch of rain is expected to fall. However, a dusting of snow is possible on Mother's Day night, as temperatures plummet.

Temperatures will start in the mid-40s before they drop into the low 30s on Sunday night, making a light snow possible. Little accumulation is expected before temperatures warm enough to turn the precipitation into rain again.
