Scale Up Milwaukee’s SPARC business accelerator announces participants for 5th cohort
23 woman- and minority-owned businesses taking part


MILWAUKEE – Scale Up Milwaukee’s fifth SPARC business accelerator program has launched and features 23 Black-, Hispanic-, and woman-owned businesses from the area that totaled $4.3 million in revenue last year, and that project 36 percent growth in 2021.

Programming is being held virtually and is focused on helping business owners recalibrate their approach to business amid the evolving economic and social landscapes impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as efforts to achieve greater levels of social justice. Weekly classes run through May, providing one-on-one access with program instructors and experts, with more than 30 hours of instruction.
