Teens Injured On Hank Aaron Trail By High-Powered Pellet Gun
Four teens were injured Wednesday night after they were wounded by someone firing a high-powered pellet gun.

MILWAUKEE, WI - Four teens were injured Wednesday night on the 3500 block of West Canal Street after they were wounded by someone firing a high-powered pellet gun, according to Milwaukee police. The teens injuries were not considered life-threatening and they were treated at a local hospital.
About 7 p.m. Wednesday, police say the teens were walking on the Hank Aaron Trail when four of the juveniles and a fifth victim’s dog were struck by pellets. The dog was treated at a local veterinary hospital and the wounds are non-life threatening.
A woman on Thursday said her husband was hit by a pellet while they were riding bicycles on the trail about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. She told the newspaper that the pellet left a hole in his shirt and a small wound.

Police recovered a pellet gun after a search of the area and continue to seek a suspect. Several media outlets reported the teens were boys, ranging in age from 14 to 17.
