Where Do You Need A Mask In Wauwatosa Right Now?

According to the Common Council's decision, business and property owners can still enact their own masking rules.

WAUWATOSA, WI — After following Milwaukee and Racine in dropping masks for fully vaccinated individuals, Wauwatosa still requires masks indoors in health care settings and in businesses that decide to enact their own rules.

The City of Wauwatosa required residents to wear masks when outside of their homes until June 16, but the rule was amended Tuesday for fully vaccinated residents.

According to the new amendment, individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two weeks after their second Pfizer/Moderna shot or first and only Johnson & Johnson shot) can resume indoor and outdoor activities without a face covering and without physically distancing. This follows the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention changes to masking guidance last week.
