3 WI Cities Among Best In U.S. For Breweries
Several factors like population above drinking age, fees, tax per barrel and others were used to determine the cities on the list.
WISCONSIN — Wisconsin is home to three of the 30 best cities in the United States to open a brewery, according to a study done by Bid-On-Equipment. We're not exactly surprised.
Madison, La Crosse and Milwaukee made the top 30 list. The list was built based on several factors which affect how brewery-friendly a city is, like tax per barrel, population above the drinking age, how many breweries are already there and the annual fee.
Wisconsin luckily doesn't have any annual fees for breweries in any of the cities that made the list.
