Winter Storm Warning Issued For Milwaukee County
The warning is in effect for Milwaukee County from 9 p.m. Monday until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Milwaukee County. The warning is in effect from 9 p.m. Monday until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Patchy dense fog and some freezing fog will be possible through Tuesday morning, with potential slick spots developing on area roadways, the NWS reported.
According to the NWS, a strong low pressure system will track south of Wisconsin through Tuesday and bring accumulating snow to much of the southern portion of the state.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for areas along and south of Interstate 94 and counties along Lake Michigan.
The NWS reported that some lake enhancement of snowfall is possible; however, there is still some uncertainty with how far north snow will track.

Gusty winds may lead to blowing snow concerns late Monday night through Tuesday, the NWS said. These winds may also lead to the potential for some localized lakeshore flooding and erosion for locations south of Milwaukee.
Accumulating snow will continue on Tuesday morning and gradually end from west to east by the afternoon and evening. Lake effect snow may keep snow going for locations near Lake Michigan from Tuesday through Wednesday morning.
The winter weather advisory remains in effect until Tuesday afternoon and evening. Gusty winds
may lead to continued blowing snow concerns Tuesday.
A system may bring another round of snow to Wisconsin over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
