Wisconsin Coronavirus: 4,199 Confirmed Cases, 211 Deaths

The latest numbers from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Saturday show an increase of 144 cases from Friday.

Just under 4,200 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Wisconsin and 211 people have died from the illness as of Saturday afternoon, the latest data from the state's department of health services shows.

The numbers on Saturday represent an increase of 144 cases from the previous day and six additional deaths.

Nearly 1,200 patients in the state have required hospitalization. As of Saturday afternoon, 361 patients in the state are hospitalized and 135 of those patients are in the intensive care unit.

Data from health officials show that Wisconsin has 1,243 total ventilators and over 4,200 beds available for patients.

Milwaukee County leads the state with the most number of coronavirus cases, followed by Dane and Waukesha counties. Racine, Kenosha and Brown counties also have a large concentration fo the state's cases. You can see the full breakdown by county here.
