Wisconsin Coronavirus: Over 3,300 Cases; Deaths Near 150
The latest numbers from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services show an increase of 128 cases from the previous day.
The number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus reached 3,341 Sunday afternoon, an increase of 128 cases from Saturday, according to the latest data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. An additional seven deaths from the illness brought the state's death toll to 144 as of Sunday afternoon.
According to health officials, 974 patients in Wisconsin have required hospitalization. While over 3,000 patients have tested positive for the virus, nearly 36,000 tests have come back negative for COVID-19.

Milwaukee County leads the state with the most number of cases: 1,710 cases and 88 deaths, making up more than half of the state's total death toll. Dane and Waukesha counties have the second and highest number of cases respectively.
Black residents in Wisconsin make up 26 percent of the total cases in the state and 42 percent of deaths. According to the U.S. Census, black Americans make up 6.7 percent of the state's population, indicating racial disparities in the virus' spread.
