MILWAUKEE, WI — After a gorgeous weekend filled with sun and warm temperatures, winter will briefly show its face again in the form of two rounds of snow Tuesday. It will make for slippery and hazardous conditions, weather observers say.

According to the National Weather Service, a one-to-two-hour period of snow showers mixed with rain is expected across southern Wisconsin Tuesday morning. The snow showers may
produce a dusting to a light accumulation of snow.

The National Weather Service says the snow will come Tuesday morning, as a line of snow showers will continue to track across portions of south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin through 11 a.m.

These snow showers may leave a light accumulation on grassy surfaces and elevated objects. Slush may accumulate on roads and cause slippery stretches for the morning commute, especially for areas from Wisconsin Dells to Madison to Janesville and west.
