Wisconsin Weather: Up To 7 Inches Of Snow Starting Friday
Weather observers say there remains some uncertainty on the exact track of the weekend system.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Another winter storm is moving in, and observers say there will between 2-6 inches of snow in our area with the potential for seven inches of snow in communities just north of Milwaukee.
The National Weather Service says the most snow will start Friday night.
According to the National Weather Service, the next weather system to affect southern Wisconsin will bring accumulating snow and possibly a wintry mix to the area from later Friday afternoon into Saturday.

Weather observers say there remains some uncertainty on the exact track of the weekend system, as well as the amount of mixed precipitation later Friday night into early Saturday.
The National Weather Service says that travel impacts are likely. Snowfall totals of 3 to 7 inches are expected, with light icing less than one tenth inch.

Snow before 2 a.m., then snow and freezing rain. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 28. Breezy, with a southeast wind 15 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Saturday
Snow and freezing rain before 10 a.m., then rain and snow between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., then a chance of snow after 1 p.m. Temperature rising to near 34 by 10 a.m., then falling to around 26 during the remainder of the day. Windy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 miles per hour becoming west 20 to 25 miles per hour in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 7. Windy, with a west wind 20 to 25 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 35 miles per hour.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 13. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour.
